Employers Are Allowing Workers to Express Religion in the Workplace

Youtube is fun to spend time on. I’ve been doing a lot of searching of videos lately for the workshops that I am organizing in the next few weeks — the next on October 27 on religious accommodations in the workplace and then another on November 17 on employee monitoring and employees’ privacy rights. While searching for some videos on religious discrimination and accommodations, I came across this video:

The gist of the video is that more and more employers are allowing workers to express their religious practices and beliefs in the workplace, from displaying crosses at cubicles to organizing prayer groups during lunch.

What do you think? Does your workplace allow religion and religious practices to be expressed? Should employers allow this? Is it good for productivity and employee morale? I’d love to know what you think!
